BNI Horizon chapter brings together business people from the south Essex, Romford, Hornchurch and Havering areas for effective, focused networking. Members benefit from the combined experience and contacts of approaching 30 members. Working on the premise that givers gain, everyone in the Horizon chapter works hard for fellow network members, bringing in highly qualified new business referrals week in, week out.

This year's exhibition was another chance for local businesses to get together, and like last year's inaugural event, was well attended. The numbers weren't huge, but the visitors that came were all focused on doing some quality business networking.
Many of the members made valuable new contacts and there was a buzz going around the Saint Francis Hospice Education Centre for a coupel of hours on a chilly March evening.
Barry Hearne's keynote speech was lively as you would expect, but also highly touching in his genuine admiration and praise for the work done by the hospice for local people and their families. There was also an empassioned appeal for help in spreading the work of Saint Francis Hospice to training carers in India.
Everyone felt well looked after and a huge vote of thanks goes to Alistair Heron for facilitating the event.

BNI Central Office co-ordinates an extensive programme of training workshops at centres close to local chapters. From the very earliest stages all members are encouraged to participate, and every new BNI member goes through the New Members Success Training workshop.
It doesn’t stop there though, as like the best sports teams, the best businesses stay at the top by training, training, training. No matter how skilled we are, there is always something that can be taken away from every training opportunity and used in everyday activities to help make business better.
The great news is that as you do more business with more people, your network grows, and as that happens, more opportunities to do even more business open up through getting great referrals. The BNI training programme is designed to help every member get the very best value out of these networking opportuities.
